Double Telling has unveiled the first look production images for the London premiere of Run Sister Run, the acclaimed play by award-winning playwright Chloë Moss.

Directed by Marlie Haco, the production stars Jo Herbert as Connie, Kelly Gough as Ursula, Theo Fraser Steele as Adrian, and Charlie Beaven as Jack.

Run Sister Run is now running at the Arcola Theatre until 26 July, with press night taking place on 7 July.

Spanning four decades, the play explores the complex and evolving relationship between two sisters, Connie and Ursula, as they navigate the emotional terrain of family, identity, and survival.

This new staging fuses Moss’ searing dialogue with movement and original music, offering a powerful and compassionate portrayal of sibling bonds.

Director Marlie Haco said:
“I feel incredibly lucky to be bringing Chloë’s resonant play to the London stage this year. I was immediately struck by its shattering depiction of sisterhood, which cuts right to the heart of what it means to love another person, and at what cost. Run Sister Run is a gift to any director, offering both raw intensity and unexpected humour as it champions the will to survive in a broken system. I can’t wait to share this story with audiences this summer.”

The creative team includes Tomás Palmer (Set & Costume Design), Ákos Lustyik (Composer & Sound Design), Florence Hand (Co-sound Design), Alex Forey (Lighting Design), and Gabrielle Dawes (Casting Director).

Double Telling is also partnering with Become, Hackney Quest, and Transform Children’s Homes to engage local communities with the play’s themes.
