New production images have been released for the world premiere of This Little Earth, the debut full-length play by Jessica Norman, opening at Arcola Theatre this October.

Presented by 3 hearts canvas and Izzy Carney, This Little Earth is directed by Imy Wyatt Corner and stars Fanta Barrie and Ross O’Donnellan.

The play follows two Flat-Earthers on a surreal journey to Antarctica in search of the edge of the world. As their unconventional love story unfolds in the most inhospitable place on Earth, they are forced to confront the blurred lines between truth and illusion.

Jessica Norman said, “I’m beyond excited to have Fanta Barrie and Ross O’Donnellan joining the team. They are two bold, brilliant actors whose work I’ve admired from afar, and I can’t wait to see them bring Honey and Christopher to life. This Little Earth is a play for our post-truth age — an unconventional love story and gripping tale of adventure. I know that these two fantastic performers will take us right to the edge.”

Fanta Barrie plays Honey. Her previous theatre credits include The Ministry of Lesbian Affairs (Kiln Theatre), The Loved Ones (Ireland Tour), and The Lovely Bones (UK Tour). On screen, she has appeared in My Lady Jane and Mrs. Sidhu Investigates.

The creative team includes Cat Fuller (Set and Costume Design), Hugo Dodsworth (Light and Projection Design), Jamie Lu (Sound Design), and Hamza Ali (Movement Direction).

This Little Earth runs at Arcola Theatre Studio 2 from 22 October to 15 November, with press night on 24 October at 7:00pm.
