New rehearsal images have been released for The Hunger Games: On Stage, offering audiences an early look at the production’s new cast ahead of their first performances later this month.
The first-ever stage adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ acclaimed novel and Lionsgate’s blockbuster film continues its run at Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre, with the new company taking over from Friday 23 October 2026.
The newly released rehearsal photographs feature Elizabeth Anderson as Katniss Everdeen, Vinnie Copeland as Peeta Mellark, Nathan Stokes as Gale Hawthorne, Daisy Statham as Prim, Alix Dunmore as Mrs Everdeen, Isabel Della-Porta as Effie Trinket and Theo Ogundipe as Cinna.
Joining them are television and stage stars Neil McDermott as Haymitch Abernathy and Daniel Brocklebank as Caesar Flickerman, while John Malkovich continues to appear on screen as President Snow.
The company also includes returning cast members Aiya Agustin, Geo Bailey, Alexandra Barredo, Jessica Daugirda and Luca Moscardini, alongside new cast members Jason Battersby, Jesse Chidera, Elliot Copeland, Myla Carmen, Archie Durrant, Xanthe Gibson, Maria Goodman, Joseph Lukehurst, Montel Morrison, Jhanaica van Mook, Lewis Renninson, Florence Russell, Jake Scott Newton, Emma Shannon, Hamish Skeoch and Rhodri Watkins.
Adapted by Conor McPherson and directed by Matthew Dunster, the production transforms the world of Panem for the stage in the purpose-built, 1,200-seat Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre.
Set in a dystopian future, The Hunger Games follows Katniss Everdeen as she volunteers to take her sister’s place in a brutal televised competition where 24 tributes must fight for survival. As the Games unfold, Katniss becomes an unlikely symbol of resistance against the Capitol.
The creative team includes set designer Miriam Buether, choreographer Charlotte Broom, lighting designer Lucy Carter, sound designer Ian Dickinson for Autograph, video designer Tal Rosner, illusion designer Chris Fisher and costume designer Tom Silverwood.
Bookings for The Hunger Games: On Stage are currently open until 14 February 2027.
