Eleanor Lloyd Productions and Rebecca Stafford Productions have announced the fourteenth cast for Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution, now extended until October 2026 at London County Hall.
Charlie Preston will make his West End debut as Leonard Vole, the man accused of murder in cold blood. He is joined by Lara Lemon as Romaine Vole, Graham Seed as Mr Mayhew, and Tom Godwin as Mr Myers QC.
Roger May and Christopher Saul take on the roles of Sir Wilfrid Robarts QC and Justice Wainwright respectively.
The new cast begins performances from 26 September 2025, with tickets available now.
This year marks 100 years since Agatha Christie’s original story, Witness for the Prosecution, first appeared in print under the title Traitor Hands.
Now in its eighth year, the production continues to captivate audiences inside the historic London County Hall, with nearly every performance selling out.
Director Lucy Bailey said, “Christie’s enthralling tale of justice, passion and betrayal unfolds around the audience in a thrilling courtroom setting.”
The immersive staging places the audience in the thick of the action, as prosecution battles defence and shocking testimonies are delivered.
The production received Best Revival nominations at the 2018 Olivier and WhatsOnStage Awards.
Design is by William Dudley, with lighting by Chris Davey, sound design by Mic Pool, and casting by Ellie Collyer-Bristow CDG.
The full company also includes Sahar Awad, William Bassoumba, Tuhin Chisti, Michael Fray, Caroline Guthrie, Sulin Hasso, Pena Iiyambo, Richard Keightley, Michael Otim-Okot, Sam Pay, Finn Torkington and Jolyon Young.
