Casting is now complete for the UK and Ireland tour of Mrs. Doubtfire, which will open at Birmingham Hippodrome on 13 August 2026.
The production will run in Birmingham until 19 September before embarking on an extensive tour, visiting cities including Newcastle, Plymouth, Leeds, Dublin, Glasgow, Southampton, Liverpool, Cardiff, Nottingham, Sheffield, Milton Keynes, Aberdeen and Canterbury.
Gabriel Vick will lead the cast as Daniel Hillard, reprising his acclaimed performance from the West End.
He will be joined by Kara Lily Hayworth as Miranda Hillard, with Aaliya Mai as Lydia Hillard and Ryan Pidgen as Frank Hillard.
Also featured are Jairus McClanahan as Andre Mayem, James Darch as Stuart Dunmire, Samuelle Durojaiye as Wanda Sellner, Carl Patrick as Mr Jolly and Judge, Kiera Haynes as Janet Lundy and Rhianne Alleyne as Flamenco Singer.
Adam Colbeck-Dunn will serve as alternate Daniel Hillard, appearing in selected performances.
The production’s younger roles will be shared, with Charlie Banks, Alexander Beaumont, Joshua Miles and Dexter Pulling alternating as Christopher Hillard, and Santi Cohen, Harly Gill, Mila Isaacs and Hattie Leddington Wright alternating as Natalie Hillard.
The ensemble is completed by Zac Adlam, Rhona Butler, Joshua Clayton, Emma Dempsey, Abigail Eustis, Amy Louise Everett, Austin Garrett, Cruz-Troy Hunter, Nicholas Leon Jones, D’Mia Lindsay-Walker, Jordan Livesey, Michael Nelson, Lucy May Pollard, Paulo Teixeira and Natalie Thorn.
Based on the beloved film, Mrs. Doubtfire follows out-of-work actor Daniel Hillard, who creates the alter ego of Scottish nanny Euphegenia Doubtfire in a desperate attempt to remain close to his children after a divorce.
As the disguise takes on a life of its own, Daniel discovers unexpected lessons about family and fatherhood in this heartfelt and comedic story.
The musical features original music and lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick, with a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell.
Direction is by four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, with choreography by Lorin Latarro and music supervision, arrangements and orchestrations by Ethan Popp.
Mrs. Doubtfire is produced by Kevin McCollum and Jamie Wilson and is presented by special arrangement with Buena Vista Theatrical.
