Original Theatre and Theatr Clwyd have announced further casting and full UK and Ireland tour dates for the premiere of Torben Betts’ new comedy thriller The Other Side of Murder.

The production will star Rufus Hound as TV medium Darius Divine alongside Susie Blake as Miriam. Joining them are Aisha Jawando as Laura, Beth Lilly as Jen, and Andy McLeod as Jason, who also understudies Darius.

Understudies Maddy Banks, Oliver Byng and Sarah Lawn complete the company, with further casting to be announced.

Written by Torben Betts, whose previous hits include Murder at Midnight and Murder in the Dark, the play follows a seemingly ordinary family dinner that spirals into chaos.

When celebrity TV medium Darius Divine gathers his family, he anticipates awkward conversation, but not the arrival of his pregnant lover, a demanding mother-in-law obsessed with Gilbert and Sullivan, or a series of ghostly encounters that blur the line between performance and reality.
