The Ralph Fiennes / Theatre Royal Bath Season has announced further casting for its highly anticipated 2025 programme, with a host of acclaimed performers joining the lineup.

Award-winning comedian and actor Dylan Moran, BAFTA winner Francesca Annis, and TV stars Patrick Robinson and Charlie Rowe are among the latest additions.

Dylan Moran, Patrick Robinson and Charlie Rowe will appear in As You Like It, directed by Ralph Fiennes. They join the previously announced Dame Harriet Walter and Gloria Obianyo.

Moran, who plays Touchstone, is known for his BAFTA-winning series Black Books and roles in Notting Hill, Shaun of the Dead, The Witcher and Stuck.

Patrick Robinson, playing Duke Senior and Duke Frederick, is a veteran of the RSC and National Theatre, and is widely recognised for his role as Ash in Casualty.

Charlie Rowe, who stars as Orlando, made his screen debut in The Golden Compass and has recently appeared in Slow Horses and Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light.

They join Harriet Walter as Jaques and Gloria Obianyo as Rosalind. Obianyo recently starred in the National Theatre’s Paradise and Disney+’s Andor.

The full cast of As You Like It includes Sam Alexander, Hannah Azuonye, Matt Ray Brown, Michael Brophy, Imogen Elliott, Matt Gavan, Amber Grappy, Emilio Iannucci, Amber James, Paul Jesson, Nitai Levi, Jake Neads, Richard Pryal and Ethan Thomas.

As You Like It runs at Theatre Royal Bath from 15 August to 6 September 2025.

Francesca Annis will star alongside Ralph Fiennes in the world premiere of Small Hotel, a new play by Rebecca Lenkiewicz, directed by Holly Race Roughan.

Annis, who plays Athena, has had a distinguished career on stage and screen, including a BAFTA-winning performance in Lillie and roles in Macbeth, Cranford, and Cleopatra.

In Small Hotel, Fiennes plays Larry, a TV celebrity facing personal and professional collapse. The play explores his relationships with his twin brother, former lover, and domineering mother.

Rebecca Lenkiewicz made history with Her Naked Skin as the first living female playwright to have an original play on the National Theatre’s Olivier stage.

Small Hotel runs at Theatre Royal Bath from 3 to 18 October 2025.

Also announced is An Evening with Patti Smith, taking place on 6 July 2025. The legendary musician, writer and artist will be joined by Tony Shanahan and Jackson Smith.

Smith is the author of Just Kids and M Train, and her debut album Horses is considered one of the greatest of all time. She is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and recipient of the Legion d’Honneur.

The Ralph Fiennes / Theatre Royal Bath Season opens on 27 June with Grace Pervades, a new play by David Hare starring Fiennes and Miranda Raison.
