Melting Pot and Birmingham Rep have announced additional 2027 dates for their new production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, adapted by Simon Stephens from Mark Haddon’s internationally acclaimed novel and directed by Ned Bennett.
The production opens at Birmingham Rep in September 2026 before embarking on a major UK and Ireland tour. Newly announced 2027 dates include Edinburgh Festival Theatre (12–16 January), Cheltenham Everyman Theatre (19–23 January), Sunderland Empire Theatre (2–6 February), Cambridge Arts Theatre (9–13 February), Richmond Theatre (16–20 February), Northampton Derngate Theatre (22–27 February), Manchester Opera House (2–6 March), Glasgow Theatre Royal (9–13 March), Chester Storyhouse Theatre (16–20 March), Aberdeen His Majesty’s Theatre (23–27 March), Shrewsbury Theatre Severn (13–17 April), Bradford Alhambra Theatre (20–24 April), Cardiff Wales Millennium Centre (27 April–1 May), Aylesbury Waterside Theatre (4–8 May), Southampton Mayflower Theatre (11–15 May), Malvern Theatre (18–22 May) and Darlington Hippodrome Theatre (25–28 May).
As previously announced, the 2026 tour includes stops in Woking, Brighton, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Leicester, York, Liverpool and Bath.
