The full programme has been revealed for the 12th annual Guildford Fringe Festival, promising over 50 events across comedy, theatre, drag, live music, and more.

Running from 5 to 20 September 2025, the festival will be preceded by The Big Free Fringe Weekend on 9 and 10 August, offering a packed schedule of free, family-friendly entertainment.

The open-access, multi-arts festival will take place in a variety of venues across Guildford, including pubs, churches, libraries, and even a nature reserve.

Kicking off the festivities, The Big Free Fringe Weekend begins with a special open-air performance by theatrical supergroup The Barricade Boys from the Guildhall Balcony on Saturday 9 August.

On Sunday 10 August, Guildford High Street will host a vibrant day of entertainment, including performances from Rock Choir, Charlotte Hillman, Karl Sonoy, Majella Yorston, and more. Visitors can also enjoy circus workshops, bubble shows, face painting, crafts, and street food.

We have everything from theatre right through to circus and street entertainers with a fantastic amount of comedy and cabaret thrown in as well, and lots more! Programming this festival is always so exciting, getting the applications in from artists and venues and matching them up is a puzzle I look forward to. I think we have the perfect mix of entertainment for you all and I am looking forward to seeing you there.”
