Woolwich Works has announced a vibrant programme of live events to celebrate Pride 2026 at Woolwich Works, spotlighting queer creativity across cabaret, circus, comedy and community performance.
Running from late May through to mid-July, the season brings together established artists and emerging talent for a series of joyful, provocative and celebratory events at the South East London venue.
The programme opens on Saturday 30 May with Aircraft Circus: Sizzling Hot Circus, an adults-only cabaret directed by Lucy Francis featuring aerialists, dancers and circus performers working across silks, hoop and the rare quads trapeze.
On Saturday 6 June, audiences can enjoy a special 30th anniversary screening of Beautiful Thing, the much-loved British coming-of-age film based on Jonathan Harvey’s play and filmed locally in Thamesmead.
Friday 12 June sees the Visitors’ Book Café host Divas Karaoke, inviting audiences to celebrate iconic LGBTQ+ anthems and pop classics in a relaxed, high-energy, over-18s setting.
Circus artist Zaki Musa curates and performs Queer Euphoria on Friday 19 June, a high-energy cabaret and circus showcase featuring a diverse cast of queer creatives and boundary-pushing performance.
Comedy takes centre stage on Sunday 21 June with Clare Summerskill: Pride and Joy, blending stand-up and original comedy songs exploring identity, community and everyday life.
LGBTQ+ Greenwich presents Proud Together on Saturday 27 June, a free, family-friendly celebration hosted by the UK’s only Hungarian drag queen Candy Heals.
Drag Queen Storytime returns on Sunday 28 June, hosted by drag princess Topsie Redfern, also known as West End actor Nathan Kiley, featuring stories, songs and playful activities for all ages.
The season concludes on 11 July with Drag & Fab, a high-energy queer cabaret from LGBTQ+ Greenwich showcasing drag kings, queens and non-binary performers from across London.
