Stratford East has announced the initial cast for the UK premiere of Here There Are Blueberries, a co-production with Tectonic Theater Project. The production runs from 31 January to 28 February 2026, with press night on 11 February.

Conceived and directed by Tony and Emmy Award nominee Moisés Kaufman, and co-written with Emmy nominee Amanda Gronich, Here There Are Blueberries was a 2024 Pulitzer Prize finalist, winner of the 2025 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Play, and recipient of two Helen Hayes Awards.

The cast includes Geraldine Alexander (Bridgerton, Oslo), Scott Barrow (33 Variations, The Laramie Project), Os Leanse (Stranger Things: The First Shadow, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One), Philippine Velge (Jurassic World Rebirth, Macbeth), Paksie Vernon (People, Places and Things, House of the Dragon), and Arthur Wilson (Much Ado About Nothing, Mnemonic). Further casting will be announced soon.

Based on real events, the play explores the story of a mysterious album of Nazi-era photographs that arrived at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2007. As curators uncover the truth behind the images, the album sparks a global debate about history, ethics, and humanity.

Audiences will also be invited to attend a series of post-show conversations curated by FASPE (Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics), featuring ethicists and scholars discussing the complex issues raised by the play.
