OFFIE Award-winning composer and lyricist Jack Miles returns to The Actors’ Church in Covent Garden on 9 August 2025 with Jack Miles & Friends, a one-night-only celebration of new musical theatre.

The concert will feature performances from acclaimed West End talents Rosalind Ford (In Clay, The Cabinet Minister), Morgan Gregory (The Lightning Thief, 42 Balloons), Molly Lynch (The Last Five Years, My Fair Lady), and Harry Morrison (Come From Away, The Producers).

Jack Miles & Friends is part of The Actors’ Church’s New Notes season, which champions original voices in musical theatre. The event promises a magical evening of songs from both new and established works, with musical direction by Matt Herbert.

Jack Miles is best known for his musical In Clay, which won two Off-West End Awards and enjoyed a sold-out run in London in 2024. The show has since been showcased in New York at NAMT’s Festival of New Musicals and will premiere in Washington DC later this year, with further productions planned in 2026. A Chinese-language production recently completed a sold-out run in Shanghai.

Critics have praised Miles’ work, with Musical Theatre Review noting, “The extraordinary quality of the writing recalls Stephen Sondheim.”

The Spy in the Stalls added, “The strength of Miles’ music transports the audience and gives the songs an incredible emotive power.”

All That Dazzles wrote, “The intelligence and care that has gone into crafting every lyric of every song is wonderful.”

The Actors’ Church, with its rich history of supporting emerging artists, is the perfect venue to showcase the next generation of musical theatre talent. Audiences will have the chance to discover new favourites and meet the creatives behind the music.
