The West End production of The Producers is celebrating Mel Brooks’ upcoming 100th birthday with a series of special ticket offers this June.
To mark the iconic writer and composer’s milestone on 28 June, the show will release 100 tickets priced at £19.26 for Monday to Friday performances, in honour of the year of his birth.
The production will also offer a free ticket to anyone celebrating their own 100th birthday this year, with patrons invited to present photo ID and a telegram from King Charles III at the box office.
The celebration coincides with a media performance marking the return of Andy Nyman as Max Bialystock, a role for which he has received multiple award nominations.
Currently running at the Garrick Theatre, The Producers transferred to the West End following a sold-out run at the Menier Chocolate Factory.
Directed by Patrick Marber, the musical features a book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, with music and lyrics by Mel Brooks.
The production stars Andy Nyman alongside Marc Antolin, Trevor Ashley, Raj Ghatak, Harry Morrison and Joanna Woodward, with a full company supporting the riotous comedy.
Based on the cult classic film, The Producers follows failing producer Max Bialystock and timid accountant Leo Bloom as they attempt to stage the biggest flop in Broadway history, only for their plan to spectacularly backfire.
The musical has been widely acclaimed, with critics praising its irreverent humour and high-energy performances during its London run.
Booking at the Garrick Theatre continues until 19 September 2026.
