Park Theatre has unveiled a vibrant summer programme for its Park Laughs comedy series, featuring a mix of fully developed shows, Edinburgh Fringe previews, and works in progress.
Among the highlights is James Acaster, who will be performing four exclusive dates in July and August to test out new material. Acaster, known for his record-breaking five consecutive nominations for Best Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Fringe and multiple Netflix specials, will appear on 16 & 17 July and 24 & 31 August.
June kicks off with a series of fresh comedic voices. On 20 June, audiences can catch Anna Hale: Control Freak and Pedro Leandro: Soft Animal. The following night, 21 June, features Cabbage The Clown: Cinemadrome and Bebe Cave: CHRISTBRIDE.
Two double bills of Edinburgh previews follow: Eric Rushton: Inkeeper and Hasan Al-Habib: Death To The West (Midlands) on 29 June, and Sharon Wanjohi with Marty Gleeson on 4 July.
From 21–26 July, Park Laughs hosts a week of Avalon Edinburgh Previews in the intimate Park90 space. The line-up includes Matt Forde, Joe Kent-Walters, Glenn Moore, Johnny White Really-Really, Chloe Petts, Pierre Novellie, Sophie Duker, Bella Hull, Rob Auton, Andrew Doherty, and more to be announced.
Earlier in the month, James Barr presents his Fringe preview Sorry I Hurt Your Son (Said My Ex To My Mum) on 12 July.
Fully developed shows include Chris Grace: Sardines on 20 July, which explores life, death, and the purpose of art. On 27 July, Cally Beaton: Namaste Motherfckers* offers a bold celebration of womanhood.
Park Laughs Live returns on 11 July with a stellar line-up featuring Pierre Novellie, Catherine Bohart, Celya AB, and Sophie Garrad.
For younger audiences, Comedy Club 4 Kids continues its monthly Sunday shows, bringing top-tier comedy to children aged 6+ and their families—minus the rude bits.
