A star-studded semi-staged concert of Jo – The Little Women Musical will make its world premiere at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane on Sunday 25 January 2026 at 7pm.

This bold new musical adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women features music by Dan Redfeld, book and lyrics by Christina Harding and John Gabriel Koladziej, and direction and choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter, whose credits include Bad Cinderella and School of Rock.

GRAMMY Award® nominee Christine Allado (Hamilton) will star as Jo March, alongside two-time Tony Award® winner Christine Ebersole (42nd Street) as Aunt March.

Joining them are West End favourite Kelly Mathieson (The Phantom of the Opera) as Meg March, TV star Sophie Pollono (I Love That For You) as Amy March, Eleanor Grant (Avatar LIVE) as Beth March, and Tobias Turley (Mamma Mia!) as Laurie.

The production will feature a 26-piece orchestra and additional Broadway and West End stars to be announced.

Jo – The Little Women Musical is described as “a universal story and a cultural moment,” bringing the iconic coming-of-age tale to life with a sweeping, timeless score.

The concert follows the global release of the studio album in May, recorded at Abbey Road Studios and produced by five-time GRAMMY Award® nominee and three-time Emmy winner Nigel Wright and Dan Redfeld. The album is available on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and as a 2-CD set via Center Stage Records.

Dan Redfeld said: “Following the amazing critical response to the Jo album, we are thrilled to finally bring this magical musical to life in London’s West End featuring many of the wonderful artists who worked on the album.”

Kelly Mathieson and Tobias Turley will perform exclusive excerpts from the musical at Musical Con 2025 in London, with special competitions and giveaways at the show’s stand.
