Lambert Jackson today announce a competition to find a future musical theatre star, offering the winner an opportunity to perform in their new show West End Women – A Celebration of Women in Musicals at Cadogan Hall on Saturday 2 February 2019. The one-night only concert will also feature a chorus of forty students from Michael Xavier Masterclass (MXM) including Daisy Greenwood who performed in Lambert Jackson’s debut show There is Nothin’ Like A Dame as a competition winner.

Rachel John, Lauren Samuels and Celinde Schoenmaker come together for one night only to perform your favourite female showstoppers from Lerner and Loewe to Lloyd Webber, Gershwin to Guettel. The winner of the competition will be selected to join this incredible trio of leading ladies and will perform to up to 950 people at the beautiful, historic Cadogan Hall.

In addition, Lambert Jackson’s concert features an accompanying chorus of sixty female students from the performing arts training ground, MXM which is run by two-time Olivier Award nominee Michael Xavier. The collaboration offers MXM students invaluable experience of the industry and the opportunity to perform professionally in West End Women – A Celebration of Women in Musicals.

Jamie Lambert, CEO of Lambert Jackson, said today, “Having had so many brilliant submissions for our competition earlier this year and a brilliant performance from our winner, Daisy, in There’s Nothin’ Like A Dame, we can’t wait to see what other talent is out there! West End Women will also see our leading ladies joined by the MXM student choir as we continue celebrating emerging talent alongside our musical theatre favourites!”
