Lambeth Fringe returns this autumn with its biggest programme to date, celebrating a decade of championing underrepresented voices and emerging talent in South London.

Running from 25 September to 25 October, the 2025 edition features over 200 events across 25 venues, spanning theatre, comedy, cabaret, music, and family-friendly performances.

Formerly known as Clapham Fringe, the festival continues to spotlight the vibrant culture and community of Lambeth, with a renewed focus on accessibility and artist wellbeing.

This year’s highlights include The Ultimate Bubble Show (3–4 Oct), a dazzling spectacle from Guinness World Record holder Ray Bubbles, and Willy Witches (8–10 Oct), a comedic tale of four women navigating the perils of the English witch hunts.

Other standout shows include MJ Hibbet: Data and Dr Doom (11 Oct), a one-man musical exploring why Doctor Doom is statistically superior to Batman, and CatGPT – Feline & Ferall (26–27 Sept), the bizarre true story of a man who resurrects his cat using AI.

For the first time, Lambeth Fringe is supported by Arts Council England, enabling the festival to expand its reach and partner with new venues such as Arch 555 at Silly Towers, Vauxhall City Farm, Vaulty Towers, and Morley College.

Morley College will also donate all ticket proceeds to the newly launched Lambeth Fringe Bursary, supporting access to higher education for students who might otherwise be excluded.

Festival directors Velenzia Spearpoint and Rebecca Pryle said,

“As we celebrate ten years of The Lambeth Fringe (formerly The Clapham Fringe) we’re thrilled to present our biggest and most ambitious programme to date. This year marks a major milestone, with support from Arts Council England, an expanded roster of venues across Lambeth, and the continued backing of our incredible partners and community. We’re especially proud to deepen our commitment to artist wellbeing through our partnership with Wellbeing in the Arts, and to introduce initiatives like the Lambeth Fringe Bursary and The Glitch Awards. The spirit of the Fringe has always been about creativity, accessibility and grassroots energy and in 2025, that spirit is stronger than ever.”

Produced by the team behind The Bread & Roses Theatre, Lambeth Fringe continues to prioritise equality, diversity, and artistic quality, offering a platform for both local and visiting companies.
