Lee Mead is set to mark a major milestone in his career with a special solo concert at London’s Adelphi Theatre on Sunday 11 July 2027.
Presented by DEM Productions in association with Westway Music, Twenty Years in Technicolour celebrates two decades since Mead first appeared in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat at the very same venue after winning the BBC’s Any Dream Will Do.
The concert will be performed at 2pm and 7pm, bringing Mead back to the stage where he launched his West End career and became a household name.
Joined by a live band and a selection of special guests, Mead will perform songs from throughout his theatre career, including music from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, We Will Rock You, The Phantom of the Opera, Sister Act and Barnum.
The show will also feature music by artists who have inspired him throughout his career, including George Michael, Tony Bennett and Bruno Mars, alongside personal stories and reflections from the past twenty years.
Described as his most personal concert to date, the event promises an evening of music, memories and celebration as Mead revisits the productions, performances and moments that have defined his journey on stage.
Mead has enjoyed a varied career across theatre, television and music, with leading roles in productions including Wicked, Legally Blonde, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Chicago and We Will Rock You. Television audiences will also recognise him from Casualty, Holby City, Motherland and The Dumping Ground.
The concert announcement follows the release of Mead’s autobiography, Lee Mead – The Colours Of My Life, published in September 2026 to coincide with the twentieth anniversary of his debut album.
