Table 61 Productions has announced the full cast for the world premiere of Like Holding Water in Your Hand, a new play by Agnes Perry-Robinson opening at the Drayton Arms Theatre on 28 April 2026.

The production will be co-directed by Perry-Robinson and Felix Sutton, with Alejandra Deane, Louis Street and Chris Westgate leading the cast as Maud, Alex and Lot.

Described as a modern Orpheus and Eurydice, the play follows Maud and Alex as they navigate a world in crisis, forced to confront whether they can move forward when one of them is unable to stop looking back.

Set against the backdrop of wildfires encroaching on their block of flats, the couple find themselves under the oppressive control of their intrusive landlord, Lot. What begins as casual interference escalates into something far darker as he gains unsettling power over their lives.

The drama explores love, resilience and survival in a world where those with power often exploit it, asking what it costs to move forward when everything around you is falling apart.

She has performed professionally as a dancer alongside artists including Elton John, Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran, and will next lead Perry-Robinson’s Sobremesa at the Gilded Balloon during the 2026 Edinburgh Fringe.

Louis Street’s credits include A Walk in the Mark on screen and stage roles in The Government Inspector, The Son and Rabbit Hole at the Lace Market Theatre in Nottingham.

Chris Westgate has appeared on stage in The Beekeeper, The Door, Quiz, The Pitmen Painters, A Few Good Men, Anne Boleyn, Hotspur, Scroop and Summon Up the Blood. He also works extensively in voiceover, Theatre in Education and film.

Perry-Robinson’s debut play Eleanor earned multiple four and five-star reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe, including four stars from The Scotsman. She now develops new work with Table 61 Productions while pursuing an MA at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

Co-director Felix Sutton is a filmmaker and actor whose previous work includes the short films One Night Stand and Belladonna, the latter a finalist at the London Director Awards 2025.

Like Holding Water in Your Hand runs at the Drayton Arms Theatre from 28 April to 2 May 2026.
