London City Ballet’s Artistic Director Christopher Marney has today announced the company’s initial plans for the 2025 season.

As well as a UK, European and North American tour which will be announced in due course, the company will perform its new programme of work at Sadler’s Wells Theatre on 13 and 14 September. Tickets for the performances at Sadler’s Wells Theatre will go on general public sale on 5 February from www.sadlerswells.com

This year the programme will feature three new UK premieres including the UK and European premiere of George Balanchine’s work Haieff Divertimento as well as new work from Paris Opera Ballet’s Florent Melac and rising choreographic star Tasha Chu who is embarking on a 2 year partnership with London City Ballet during which Chu will create new works on the company.

In addition New York City Ballet’s artist in residence will work in person with the company to recreate his 2014 ballet Pictures At An Exhibition and the company will revive Liam Scarlett’s acclaimed work Consolations and Liebstraum. For the second year international star Alina Cojocaru will join the company as Guest Artist. The full tour will be announced soon.
