Lyric Hammersmith Theatre has announced a vibrant programme of family-friendly productions for 2026 under its Little Lyric banner, designed to introduce young audiences to the magic of live theatre.

A new initiative, Club Little Lyric, will launch in 2026, offering families significant savings across the Little Lyric programme. The scheme includes discounts on Studio and Main House shows, reduced pantomime tickets, and exclusive newsletter content.

Two major productions will take to the Lyric’s main stage. Dear Zoo (2–5 March), based on Rod Campbell’s beloved lift-the-flap book, will feature puppetry, songs, and all the animals from the zoo.

The Enormous Crocodile The Musical (28 July–22 August), originally co-produced by Roald Dahl Story Company, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre and Leeds Playhouse, will tour the UK and play at Lyric Hammersmith. The musical features music by Ahmed Abdullahi Gallab, lyrics by Suhayla El-Bushra, additional music and lyrics by Tom Brady, and is developed and directed by Emily Lim with puppetry by Toby Olié.

From January to March 2026, eleven productions will run in the Lyric Studio, catering to a range of age groups. Titles include Flyaway Katie, Groove Sensation, The Littlest Yak, The Mountain Witch, Hay!, Zoom!, Singor Baffo, Last Unicorn Airways, Exciting Science, Hickory Dickory Dock, and The Tale of the Loneliest Whale. More shows will be announced soon.
