Musical Con, the world’s biggest celebration of musical theatre, has unveiled its full weekend schedule for its fourth annual edition, taking place Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th October 2025 at ExCeL London.

The convention promises a show-stopping weekend packed with performances, panels, workshops, and meet-and-greets, welcoming thousands of fans and over 80 special guests.

On the Main Stage, Guests of Honour include Hadestown and Cabaret stars Eva Noblezada and Reeve Carney, alongside West End legend Kerry Ellis (Wicked, We Will Rock You).

Opening and closing ceremonies will feature performances from Layton Williams (Cabaret, Strictly Come Dancing, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie), Andy Nyman (The Producers), Shanay Holmes (Oliver!), Jeevan Braich (Starlight Express), Lauren Drew (Titanique), Zoe Birkett (Tina: The Musical), and newly announced Jess Folley (Burlesque).

Fans will enjoy a spotlight on The Producers, a puppetry showcase from Disney’s The Lion King, and sneak peeks of new musicals including Jo: The Little Women Musical starring Rob Houchen, Kelly Mathieson, and Chilina Kennedy, and Wild About You featuring Cassidy Janson (& Juliet) and Dean John-Wilson (Death Note).

A special celebration of 15 years of Paul Taylor-Mills productions will include performances from Evelyn Hoskins (Carrie), May Tether (Heathers), and Jordan Luke Gage (Bonnie & Clyde The Musical), culminating in a major announcement.

Other highlights include surprise cast reunions, performances from Emma Flynn, Frances McCann, and Keelan McAuley, a fan quiz hosted by Hannah Lowther, and a reunion with the stars of Mamma Mia! I Have a Dream.

Returning fan favourites include the Cosplay competition, Lip Sync Battle, “Star of Musical Con” talent contest, and the “Show Off” game show.

The Backstage Theatre will host fan panels and discussions, including Burn Book with Mean Girls stars Charlie Burn and Ellie Skye, and When the Chips Are Down with Hadestown alumni Allie Daniels, Melanie Bright, Francesca Daniella-Baker, and Madeline Charlemagne.

Viral sensation Brett Boyles will break down the magic behind musical theatre’s most beloved songs, while Q&A sessions will explore LGBTQIA+ representation, diversity, and accessibility in the industry.

Aspiring performers can take part in workshops and masterclasses led by top talent including choreographer Gary Lloyd (Heathers), Layton Williams, and an official Disney’s Hercules workshop.

Between sessions, fans can explore the Theatreland Exhibition featuring a Disney showcase and photo ops with Matilda The Musical, meet stars at Stage Door, and shop exclusive merchandise at the Theatreland marketplace.
