Based on Baz Luhrmann’s acclaimed film, Moulin Rouge! The Musical is set in Paris at the turn of the 20th century and follows the love story of American writer Christian and cabaret star Satine, whose romance is threatened by powerful forces both inside and outside the famous nightclub.

Featuring a score packed with pop anthems and contemporary hits, the musical has become one of the West End’s biggest theatrical successes since opening at the Piccadilly Theatre in 2021.

The production has now been seen by more than 14 million people worldwide across 15 productions, with current productions running in New York, London, on tour across North America, and in multiple international markets.

Directed by Alex Timbers, with a book by John Logan, choreography by Sonya Tayeh and music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements by Justin Levine, the show has won widespread acclaim around the world for its spectacle, design and inventive musical mash-up score.
