New casting has been announced for the West End production of Hamilton, with changes taking effect from Monday 15 June 2026 at the Victoria Palace Theatre.
Producers Jeffrey Seller and Cameron Mackintosh confirmed a series of new and returning performers joining the multi-award-winning musical, which is currently booking through to 13 March 2027.
Stephenson Ardern-Sodje will join the company as Alexander Hamilton, with Georgina Onuorah returning to the production as Angelica Schuyler.
Also newly cast are Akmed Junior Khemalai as George Washington, Ashley J. Daniels as Marquis De Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Bellinfantie as Hercules Mulligan and James Madison, and Shak Mancel James as John Laurens and Philip Hamilton.
Continuing in the production will be Yeukayi Ushe, now playing Aaron Burr, alongside Bente Mulan as Eliza Hamilton, Jasmine Jia Yung Shen as Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds, and Daniel Boys as King George III.
As previously announced, Leslie Odom, Jr. will play Aaron Burr from 3 July to 5 September, with Yeukayi Ushe covering the role on Monday 27, Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 July.
The wider company also includes Yuki Abe, Turrell Barrett-Wallace, Joshua Clemetson, Roxanne Couch, Manaia Glassey-Ohlson, Jack Harrison-Cooper, Olivia Kate Holding, Sergi Ibanez, Nicolais-Andre Kerry, Lily Laight, Tamara Morgan, Tim Nutt, Joshian Angelo Omaña, Aharon Rayner and Daisy Ward.
Joining the ensemble are John Browning, Milan Cacacie, Yesy Garcia, Riccardo Haerri, Jared Irving, Michael Lin, Avigalle Mendoza, Fallon Mondlane, Liam Morris and Phoebe Samuel-Gray.
Hamilton has book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and is directed by Thomas Kail, with choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire.
The production is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Alexander Hamilton and features designs by David Korins, Paul Tazewell, Howell Binkley, Nevin Steinberg and Charles G. LaPointe.
