New Musical ‘Babies’ Gets London Workshop Presentation

This week a workshop presentation took place for new musical Babies.

Produced by Crossroads Live, one of the world’s leading producers in musical theatre (The Bodyguard, Annie, Chicago, Cats, The Drifters Girl ) and theatre development company Indigo Productions (led by James Lane and Ed McGovern) Babies is a British coming-of-age musical written by Jack Godfrey (42 Balloons, This Is A Love Story) and Martha Geelan (this is Martha’s debut as a musical book writer but as a director she has worked alongside Trevor Nunn and as associate director on Fiddler On The Roof, Identical, The Bridges of Madison County and The Shark is Broken).

The workshop cast included Chloe Bell, Anoushka Chadha, Lauren Conroy, Ashley Goh, Annabel Marlow, Christian Maynard, Morgan Phillips, Shakira Riddell-Morales and Toby Shellard.

       

Summer is over, you’re about to start Year 11, your GCSEs are looming. To make matters worse, there’s a new project this term: you’ve got to look after a baby simulator for one whole week.
