One Night Records, the “secret cinema for live music”, today announces that award-winning show Lockdown Town will return as Snake Oil this autumn.

Opening on Thursday, 23 September 2021, the show, which launched to critical acclaim in October 2020 as the world’s first socially distanced immersive music event, will be back bigger and better than ever, as audience will now have the chance to freely explore One Night Record’s vivid and spellbinding immersive musical worlds.

The first wave of tickets to Snake Oil are now on sale via www.onenightrecords.com.

Part gig, part festival, part immersive adventure, One Night Records is the live music ‘cure for the festival withdrawal blues’, says Time Out. Whether it’s the neons of Rock ‘n’ Roll, the languid luxury of the jazz club, or the dusty shack where a lone bluesman plays, ‘Snake Oil’ is a unique open-ended journey into the heart and soul of music.

Set within a huge maze of tunnels, six captivating stages are set to bring some of the most influential and vibrant music styles to life, with over five hours of non-stop live music to discover every night, 7pm until late.

Snake Oil will play host to an ever-changing musical line-up, showcasing some of the UK’s most exciting musicians alongside a specially-designed food and drinks menu, giving a true taster of the iconic eras.

One Night Records opened its doors to critical acclaim in October 2020 with critics hailing the show as “The Best Thing To Do In London” (Theatre Weekly), “a joyous celebration of Live Music” (The Stage), an “undeniable thrill” (Evening Standard) and “unmissable” (Everything Theatre).

One Night Records was a finalist for ‘Set Design’ and ‘Best Idea’ at the Offies 2021 and won the coveted ‘Best Covid-safe Live Music Event 2020’ at the Event Production Awards 2021. The Daily Telegraph said at the time “I wish they could have left me there all night”, which is now becoming a reality, as, for the first time, audiences can freely explore the experience and stay dancing until late.
