‘Marmalade’, the newest single from the critically acclaimed Paddington The Musical, has been released on Decca Records. The hit production is currently running at the Savoy Theatre and has earned an impressive 11 Olivier Award nominations, 15 WhatsOnStage Award nominations and 4 Critics’ Circle Award nominations.

The lively condiment-inspired number is performed in the show by James Hameed as the voice of Paddington, Tom Edden as Mr Curry and the ensemble. With music and lyrics by Tom Fletcher, the song is a standout moment in the production and leads to a joyful audience sing-along.

The musical is packed with show-stopping songs, dazzling choreography and plenty of mayhem, complete with the beloved marmalade sandwiches. Paddington The Musical is based on A Bear Called Paddington by Michael Bond and the film ‘Paddington’, created in special arrangement with STUDIOCANAL.

An original cast recording, titled ‘Paddington The Musical – Original Cast Recording’, will be released by Decca on 22 May 2026. The album was recorded with the full West End cast and orchestra at Abbey Road Studios. Music and lyrics are by Tom Fletcher and the album is produced by Matt Brind.

The production is presented by Sonia Friedman Productions, STUDIOCANAL and Eliza Lumley Productions on behalf of Universal Music UK, with a book by Jessica Swale and direction by Luke Sheppard.
