The West End smash hit Paranormal Activity will embark on a major UK and Ireland tour from September 2026, taking its chilling theatrical experience to audiences nationwide until May 2027. The production, which continues its hugely successful run at the Ambassadors Theatre, will open the tour at Richmond Theatre on Saturday 5 September 2026.

The show, developed at Leeds Playhouse, will also return there this Christmas for a special supernatural festive season. This news follows confirmation that Paranormal Activity will return to the West End this summer due to phenomenal demand, marking its third extension.

Written by Levi Holloway and directed by Felix Barrett, Artistic Director of Punchdrunk, the production delivers a new story inspired by the iconic horror film franchise. Blending psychological terror with immersive staging, the show follows James and Lou as they move from Chicago to London, only to discover that people, not places, are haunted.

The production has been praised for its nerve shredding atmosphere, with critics calling it “relentlessly frightening” and “a cracking ghost story”. Using cinematic techniques, unsettling soundscapes and boundary pushing theatricality, the show invites audiences to confront the inexplicable in real time.

The creative team includes Fly Davis as Set and Costume Designer, illusions by Chris Fisher, lighting design by Anna Watson, sound design by Gareth Fry, video design by Luke Halls and casting direction by Ginny Schiller CDG. Full casting for the tour will be announced.

Paranormal Activity is produced by Simon Friend and Hanna Osmolska for Melting Pot, in association with Gavin Kalin, Ken Davenport, Jenny King, Patrick Gracey, Jonathan and Rae Corr and Leeds Playhouse.
