West End LIVE returned to Trafalgar Square this weekend, marking its 20th anniversary with a spectacular line-up of performances from London’s top musicals.

Dubbed “Glastonbury for theatre lovers,” West End LIVE is Europe’s largest free musical theatre festival, drawing thousands of fans to the heart of London for two days of live entertainment.

This year’s event, held on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 June, featured a dazzling array of shows including 101 Dalmatians, The Addams Family, Bat Out Of Hell, Burlesque The Musical, Calamity Jane, The Diana Mixtape, Disney’s The Lion King, Fiddler On The Roof, The Frogs, The Great Gatsby, Magic Mike Live, My Neighbour Totoro, Oliver!, The Producers, Sabrage, Six, and Titanique.

A special highlight of Sunday’s programme was a celebratory concert honouring 20 years of West End LIVE. The concert featured powerhouse performances from Madalena Alberto, Aimie Atkinson, Cassidy Janson, Jenna Lee-James, Kayleigh McKnight, Lee Mead, Johndeep More, Tobias Turley and Marisha Wallace.

Audiences were treated to iconic numbers from musicals that have graced the West End LIVE stage over the past two decades, including Beautiful, Carousel, Dreamgirls, Frozen, Heathers, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, & Juliet, Once, Rent, and We Will Rock You.
