West End and Broadway Stars Join Jo – The Little Women Musical in Concert at Theatre Royal Drury Lane

More star casting has been announced for the world premiere semi-staged concert of Jo – The Little Women Musical at Theatre Royal Drury Lane on Sunday 25 January 2026.

Double Olivier Award® winner and Tony Award® nominee Tracie Bennett will play Aunt March. Bennett’s acclaimed career includes roles in Follies, Hangmen, and Mame, as well as her award-winning portrayal of Judy Garland in End of the Rainbow.

Two-time Olivier Award® nominee Barry James joins the cast as Grandfather/Mr. Laurence. James is known for his West End performances in She Loves Me, Sweeney Todd, and Les Misérables.

GRAMMY Award® nominee Liam Tamne will take on the role of John Brooke. Tamne’s credits include Prince of Egypt, Phantom of the Opera, and Wicked.

They join the previously announced Christine Allado (Hamilton) as Jo March, Kelly Mathieson (The Phantom of the Opera) as Meg March, and Julian Ovenden (Bridgerton, The Crown) as Father, among others.

The concert will feature a 27-piece orchestra and reunites Tracie Bennett and Barry James for the first time since She Loves Me in 1994 and Les Misérables in 2006.

Jo – The Little Women Musical has music by Dan Redfeld, book and lyrics by Christina Harding and John Gabriel Koladziej, and is directed and choreographed by JoAnn M. Hunter.
