Sinners Club Soho Theatre

Sinners Club Soho Theatre

Sinners Club invites you to join live band The Bad Mothers as they record their latest album live in front of an audience. Inspired by the short life of Ruth Ellis, the last woman to be hanged in the UK, the live recording of this concept album promises songs about her life washed down with a cocktail of stories about lives lost to sin.

Join The Bad Mothers as they take a journey into a life lost to sin and ask themselves; do we know what we’re capable of?

Lucy Rivers began her work on Sinners Club as a Theatr Clwyd Writer in Residence, in association with the Friends of Theatr Clwyd and Gladstone’s Library and is co-founder of the award-winning theatre company Gagglebabble and is a writer, composer, actor and musician. Recent writing, performing and composing credits include the award-winning The Bloody Ballad (Edinburgh, Soho and UK tour) and The Forsythe Sisters for Gagglebabble, Wonderman (Gagglebabble and National Theatre Wales), Dead Dog in a Suitcase (UK and international tour), The Devil’s Violin for BBC Radio 4 and Little Sure Shot for The Egg, Bath and West Yorkshire Playhouse.

Titas Halder is a director and writer. He trained with the Donmar Warehouse and is currently an Associate Artist of The Other Room.
