Role Play Gourmet at VAULT Festival

Role Play Gourmet at VAULT Festival

Role Play Gourmet. Food is an adventure, you are the hero, come and eat the adventure, be the hero who devours. Or just watch the show, no (kitchen) pressure.

This show is the culmination of 10 years in gastronomy, frequent games nights with friends and a desire for pristine gaming components not being touched by sticky fingers (James). It examines culinary skills through the lens of popular Role Playing Games such as Dungeons and Dragons.

Paul Flannery (Knightmare Live, The MMORPG Show, Mostly Harmless Creations) has been a professional performer for 15 years. For ten of those years, between acting jobs, he was working in kitchens up and down the country.
Gastro pubs, National Stadiums and high end out-door catering companies (you know the ones, they put canapes into art installations to appear cutting edge). He once burnt his hand on David Beckham’s pie, not a euphemism.

Audience volunteers will learn how to prep, chop and organise a work station, earning XP to put in their skill tree and start on the noble quest for dinner.

Get premium tickets for a full 2 course dinner, vegetarian option available. Vegan option on request. These need to be purchased at least 48 hours in advance to allow for preparation.

There will be some food passed around in general but we can’t guarantee there will be enough for everyone.

Each ticket holder will receive a Role Play Gourmet starter pack including skill trees and recipes.
