The Quantum Physics of My Heart is a new autobiographical solo show written and performed by Amy Tobias. Scratched at the Battersea Arts Centre and developed with support from JW3, it will receive it’s first full length production at the VAULT Festival 2018.

Using neither probability nor logic, Amy invites you to her comedy science lecture about growing up in the 90s. Amy has always tried to understand the world around her using science. Now, with the help of some complex scientific theories (not really), Amy grapples with the teenage experiences that shaped her, such as a) teacher crushes, b) best friend betrayals, c) an inappropriate advance from an older man and d) trying to be a good Jew.

An eccentric, inquisitive show about how we make sense of the world around us. Expect 90s bangers, some ultra-immersive group Hubba-Bubba chewing and a test tube or two. The Quantum Physics of My Heart was scratched at the Battersea Arts Centre’s ‘Freshly Scratched’ festival and Anonymous Is A Woman Theatre Company’s scratch event 50:50, Arts Theatre. It is now being developed into a full length piece with the support of JW3, where a workin- progress showing will take place on the 3rd February, before playing six performances at the VAULT Festival 2018.

The Quantum Physics of My Heart is at VAULT Festival 21st – 25th February 2018.
