Production images have been released for Beetlejuice The Musical as the long-awaited West End production begins performances at the Prince Edward Theatre.
The new photographs, captured by Johan Persson, reveal the anarchic Broadway hit now playing in London.
David Fynn leads the cast as the mischievous title character Beetlejuice, joined by Hannah Nordberg as Lydia Deetz and Tom Xander as the alternate Beetlejuice.
They are joined by David Hunter and Chelsea Halfpenny as Adam and Barbara Maitland, alongside Alasdair Harvey as Charles Deetz and Aimie Atkinson as Delia.
The cast also includes Chasity Crisp, Richard Frame, Irvine Iqbal, Rachel Macdougall and Vanessa Aurora Sierra, with a full ensemble completing the company.
Based on Tim Burton’s cult film, Beetlejuice The Musical follows Lydia Deetz, a teenager fascinated by the afterlife, who finds herself entangled with a pair of recently deceased homeowners and a chaotic demon determined to unleash mayhem.
The production features a book by Scott Brown and Anthony King, with music and lyrics by Eddie Perfect, and direction by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers.
Following acclaimed runs on Broadway and internationally, the musical arrives in the West End with its original creative team and signature blend of comedy, spectacle and the supernatural.
