New production images have been released of Golda Rosheuvel and Letitia Wright in the world premiere of Not Your Superwoman, now running at Bush Theatre until 1 November.

The production, written by Emma Dennis-Edwards and directed by Lynette Linton, has sold out its entire run. However, audiences can still sign up to the Bush Theatre mailing list for first notice of any additional seats released.

Starring celebrated actors Golda Rosheuvel (Bridgerton) and Letitia Wright (Black Panther), Not Your Superwoman explores the complex relationship between Joyce and her daughter Erica following the death of their family matriarch.

“Everything thrown at me I should be able to handle.”

Joyce believed she had given Erica a better life, everything she herself never had. But Erica begins to question whether she is truly different from her mother—or her grandmother.

Maybe they didn’t break the cycle. Maybe the cycle can never be broken.

Directed by Bush Theatre’s outgoing Artistic Director Lynette Linton (Shifters), the production features design by Alex Berry, lighting by Jai Morjaria, sound by Max Pappenheim, movement by Shelley Maxwell, and video by Gino Green. Music is composed by XANA, with vocal coaching by Hazel Holder and dramaturgy by Deirdre O’Halloran.

The cast features Golda Rosheuvel as Joyce and Letitia Wright as Erica.

This production is generously supported by Charles Holloway OBE, Eleanor Lloyd Productions, and Eilene Davidson Productions.

The Bush Theatre has introduced a new pricing structure this season, offering more £15 tickets than ever before and setting all concession rates at £5. Rush seats are released daily via the TodayTix app.
