Punchdrunk has announced an extension of its critically acclaimed immersive production LANDER 23 at One Cartridge Place, Woolwich, London. The run now continues through 10 May 2026, with best ticket availability from February. Tickets start at £38.75 and are available to book at punchdrunk.com.

Described as a live-action video game, LANDER 23 pushes the boundaries of immersive theatre by merging performance with gaming. Audiences become players in a multiplayer stealth game, split into two squads: Command (Drivers) and Ground Team (Fields). Communication is key as Fields navigate an alien landscape guided solely by their Drivers aboard the ship.

The story follows the Lander Division of the Centre for Astrobiology, tasked with exploring the galaxy’s outer realms. A week ago, the crew of Lander 23 vanished while harvesting a valuable energy source. Now, a new team must complete the mission without meeting the same fate. Time is short, the environment is treacherous, and hidden dangers lurk in the shadows.

Conceived, directed and designed by Felix Barrett, LANDER 23 is co-directed by Kath Duggan and Joel Scott, with design by Livi Vaughan and Beatrice Minns, lighting by Felix Barrett and Sarah Readman, sound by Gareth Fry, and video design by Bruno Cordeiro. The game system is created by Meaning Machine.

Tickets can be purchased online in multiples of two, with single tickets available via the Box Office on 0208 191 1431. The experience lasts approximately 90 minutes, and all players must wear provided audio equipment. Ages 12+, with under-16s accompanied by an adult.
