This October sees the release of the next must have album for musical theatre fans. RE:ARRANGEMENT will feature eight new tracks arranged by Nick Barstow and sung by some very familiar voices including Hear’Say’s Noel Sullivan (School of Rock/We Will Rock You), Steps’ Faye Tozer (Everyone’s Talking About Jamie) and X Factor Winner Matt Terry (Madagascar/How the Grinch stole Christmas).

The project started out as a live cabaret, co conceived by both Nick Barstow and Director Kirk Jameson, where the initial idea was to take familiar songs and reinvent them musically, thus giving them a brand new identity.

Speaking about the album, Nick says “RE:arrangement is a love letter to the art of melody – all of the songs on the album are timeless and, in their own way, iconic. By shifting the style and genre of the song but preserving those gorgeous melodic lines, the tunes get shown off in a brand new way”.

Not content with solely arranging the album, Nick also lends his vocals to a duet with Jennifer Harding, who workshopped some of the original material on the project.

Following the success of its previous performances, the live show will also play this year’s STAGES: FLOATING FESTIVAL for Royal Caribbean starring Noel Sullivan along with Alice Fearn (Wicked), Andy Coxon (West Side Story) and Kelly Mathieson (Phantom of the Opera), all of whom also have tracks on the album.
