Rehearsal images have been released for 50 First Dates: The Musical, which is set to make its world premiere at The Other Palace from 14 September to 16 November 2025.

The new musical adaptation of the beloved 2004 rom-com stars Georgina Castle (Mean Girls) as Lucy Whitmore and Josh St. Clair (Ghost) as Henry Roth. The roles were originally made famous by Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler.

Joining them on stage are Georgia Arron (Mean Girls), Aizaac Aruna (Stardust), Zoë Ann Bown (The Sound Of Music), Emily Olive Boyd (Les Misérables), Greg Stylianou Burns (The Lightning Thief), Cole Dunn (Kinky Boots), Samuelle Durojaiye (Jesus Christ Superstar), Paul Kemble (Hello, Dolly!), John Marquez (The Birthday Party), Natasha O’Brien (Mamma Mia), Aiesha Naomi Pease (Wicked), David Pendlebury (The Phantom Of The Opera), Martha Pothen (The Frogs), Ricky Rojas (Moulin Rouge!), Chad Saint Louis (Cry-Baby), Samantha Thomas (Les Misérables), and Charlie Toland (Sin The Musical).

Directed by multi-Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw (Mean Girls, The Book of Mormon), the musical features book, music and lyrics by David Rossmer and Steve Rosen (The Other Josh Cohen).

“He’s falling for her every day—she’s forgetting him every night,” reads the show’s tagline. “When notorious bachelor Henry meets art teacher Lucy, he thinks he’s finally found ‘the one’. Until the next morning when she wakes up with no memory of their first date…”
