Seth Rudetsky, affectionately dubbed “The Mayor of Broadway” by Audra McDonald, is making his long-awaited return to London’s West End cabaret hotspot, Crazy Coqs, for the first time since 2019.

He’ll take to the stage on Sunday 5 October 2025, with two performances at 5pm and 7.30pm.

Divas By The Decade, produced by Rudetsky’s husband James Wesley Jackson, promises a dazzling celebration of musical theatre’s most iconic women. From Ethel Merman to Chita Rivera, Elaine Paige to Barbra Streisand, Seth will dish out hilarious insider stories and showcase rare audio and video clips that highlight the brilliance of these legendary performers.

Audiences can expect tales from backstage and beyond, including what Streisand said to Marvin Hamlisch about Funny Girl, and her personal words to Seth after seeing him deconstruct her performance.

“These are the ladies who created Evita, Dolly, Effie, Velma, Eponine, Elphaba and so many more iconic roles,” says Rudetsky. “Divas By The Decade!”

Seth’s career spans decades as a Broadway pianist, actor, comic, and writer. He’s played in the orchestra pits of Ragtime, Les Misérables, and Phantom of the Opera, and made his Broadway acting debut in The Ritz at Studio 54.

He co-wrote and starred in Disaster! on Broadway, which was hailed by The New York Times as a “triumph” and a Critics’ Pick. He currently hosts Seth Speaks and the afternoon Broadway show on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio.

During the pandemic, Seth and James Wesley Jackson launched Stars in the House, a livestream series that raised over $1.3 million for The Actors Fund and additional funds for other charities.
