Stratford East has unveiled a fresh wave of One Nighters and special performances to mark its 140th anniversary year.

This dynamic programme brings together comedy, improv, and poetry, showcasing the bold creative energy and diverse voices that define the East London venue.

First up, Nice N’ Spiky Presents Ed Gamble lands on Friday 7 November at 7.30pm. The Off Menu podcast star and Taskmaster favourite will headline the evening, hosted by the exceptional Jessica Fostekew (Live at the Apollo), with further acts to be announced.

On Saturday 8 November at 7pm, Stand With Palestinians: Messages from Gaza arrives at Stratford East, presented by White Kite Collective. Following sold-out events at Arcola Theatre, Bush Theatre, Rich Mix and Tara Theatre, this galvanising evening of solidarity features monologues, poetry, comedy, music and audience engagement.

“We bear witness and galvanise to action through testimony, literature and collective discussion. White Kite Collective stand in solidarity with all peoples seeking liberation from global systems of oppression.”

Then on Thursday 18 December at 8pm, Shoot From The Hip returns with their award-winning, internet-viral improvised comedy. Expect chaotic games, epic scenes, and ever-so-slightly unhinged performances in a show that’s completely unscripted and unforgettable.
