The smash-hit rock ‘n’ roll variety show That’ll Be The Day is set to make a triumphant return to the iconic London Palladium on Tuesday 3rd February 2026, celebrating its landmark 40th anniversary.

Joining the cast for this special gala performance is Britain’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent: All Stars sensation Tom Ball, whose powerhouse vocals will add a new dimension to the beloved production.

A decade since it last played the Palladium, That’ll Be The Day continues to dazzle audiences across the UK with its unique blend of music, comedy, and nostalgia. Led by creator and performer Trevor Payne, the show features a multi-talented cast of singers and musicians.

Tom Ball has enjoyed a meteoric rise since his 2022 TV debut, with eleven No.1 global chart rankings, over 140 million online views, and a Top 5 UK album, Curtain Call. His guest appearance promises to be a highlight of the anniversary celebration.

The show features more than 60 timeless hits from legendary artists including The Beatles, ABBA, Elvis Presley, Tina Turner, and Diana Ross. Audiences can expect a feel-good journey through the decades, from the 1950s to the 1980s.

In addition to the music, That’ll Be The Day includes laugh-out-loud comedy sketches and vintage adverts that evoke the spirit of bygone eras.

Tom Ball said, “Joining Trevor and the whole That’ll Be The Day team at the London Palladium is an incredible honour. It’s one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time, and being part of its 40th Anniversary celebration will be electric. Performing some of the greatest hits in history with such world-class musicians (& people) is going to be so much fun!”

Trevor Payne added, “We invited Tom to join us – he’s got an incredible talent with an extraordinary voice and we very much look forward to him joining us at the gala performance on 3 Feb. I’m sure all That’ll Be The Day fans will enjoy his contribution to this special night at the Palladium.”

Over the years, That’ll Be The Day has raised more than £1 million for charities including Childline, Make A Wish, Help for Heroes, and the Red Cross Ukraine Appeal through post-show collections.
