Comedian and television favourite Tom Allen is set to join the cast of Titanique at the Criterion Theatre this spring.
Producers Eva Price and Michael Harrison have announced that Allen will appear in the Olivier Award-winning musical comedy from Wednesday 4 March until Sunday 12 April 2026.
Allen will take on the role of Ruth, joining the production for a six-week engagement while the show continues its West End run.
Tom Allen said: “I saw this show when it first opened and I loved it so much I had to see it again almost immediately. The laughs and camp spoofing are addictive and exactly what the world needs right now. I am beyond honoured to be joining this extremely talented cast and can’t wait to come aboard for my life boat drill! …wait, they do have enough lifeboats right?”
Currently starring in Titanique are Luke Bayer as Jack, Richard Carson as Cal, Ryan Carter as The Iceberg, Rose Galbraith as Rose, Astrid Harris as Céline Dion, Carl Mullaney as Ruth, Michael Vinsen as Victor Garber and Luigi, and Charlotte Wakefield as Molly Brown.
The company is completed by on-stage background vocalists Corrine Priest, Madison Swan and Damien Winchester, with Freddie King and Caitlin Tipping as offstage understudies and David Ouch as standby.
Described as the West End’s funniest musical, Titanique is a high-energy parody featuring Céline Dion hits including My Heart Will Go On, All by Myself and To Love You More, performed with a live band.
The musical comedy is co-written by Tye Blue, Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli, and is directed by Tye Blue with choreography by Ellenore Scott.
Following its Off-Broadway premiere in 2022 and an extended New York run, Titanique has enjoyed international success in Paris, Sydney, Montreal and Toronto, and is scheduled to make its Broadway debut in March 2026.
