Europe’s largest free musical theatre festival returns to Trafalgar Square with over 50 West End shows and a newly announced line-up

The presenters and full schedule have been announced for West End LIVE, returning to Trafalgar Square on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 June 2026.

Hailed as “Glastonbury for theatre lovers”, the annual event once again brings Europe’s largest free musical theatre festival to the heart of London, presented by Westminster City Council and Official London Theatre.

Across the weekend, audiences can enjoy more than 50 performances from leading West End shows and special guests, with several new additions joining the previously announced line-up.

       

Newly confirmed performances include Dark Of The Moon, English National Opera, Grease: The Immersive Movie Musical, Heathers: The Musical, Into The Woods, Jane Eyre, Jersey Boys, The Karate Kid – The Musical, Liberace And Liza: A Tribute, Love Never Dies In Concert, Noël Coward In The West End: Robert Hazle & Helena Northcote, Shanay Holmes, and Sirens: The Concert Series.

Additional surprise performances will also be revealed live during the weekend in Trafalgar Square.

West End LIVE 2026 Line-Up Announced for Return to Trafalgar Square

Saturday’s event will be presented by Mathilde Barker, Shanay Holmes and Tobias Turley, while Courtney Bowman and Tosh Wanogho-Maud will host on Sunday.

The packed schedule features appearances from major productions including Wicked, Hamilton, Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Cabaret, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Six, Hadestown and Disney’s Hercules on Saturday.

Sunday’s line-up includes Disney’s The Lion King, Matilda The Musical, Titanique, Kinky Boots, Jersey Boys, Heathers: The Musical and The Karate Kid – The Musical, alongside further special performances and surprise acts.

For the first time in the event’s history, 100 fast-track entry places per day are available through an online competition.

       

One winner will also receive a backstage experience, a £50 merchandise voucher and £200 in Theatre Tokens to redeem via OfficialLondonTheatre.com or at the Official London Theatre Ticket Booth in Leicester Square.

The competition closes at 11.59pm on Sunday 14 June.

West End LIVE remains free to attend, with performances and exclusive backstage content also streamed across Official London Theatre’s YouTube and social media channels.
