Woolwich Works has unveiled a festive line-up of queer cabaret, live music, drag entertainment and Christmas parties for its 2026 winter season at the Royal Arsenal venue.

The programme begins on 28 November with Disco Orchestrated, presented by Brixton Chamber Orchestra. Featuring a 19-piece ensemble and four vocalists, the concert reimagines classic disco favourites in a live orchestral setting designed for dancing and singing along.

A centrepiece of the festive season is Drag the Halls, returning to Woolwich Works on 10 December in partnership with LGBTQ+ Greenwich. The queer cabaret variety show brings together drag queens, kings and things alongside burlesque, clowning, comedy and live singing, celebrating the creativity of the local LGBTQ+ community.

The celebrations continue on 11 December with Drag Bingo UK: Festive Edition, combining bingo, drag entertainment and festive fun for a lively Christmas night out.

On 18 December, Karaoke at the Works – Christmas Special invites audiences to take to the microphone for an evening hosted by cabaret characters Binkie and Maud. The free event welcomes younger performers earlier in the evening before becoming an adults-only singalong.

The season concludes on 19 December with Santa’s Silent Disco: Ages 18 to 118, bringing three DJs and a soundtrack of festive favourites to the Fireworks Factory.

Nick Williams, Director of Woolwich Works, commented: “Christmas at Woolwich Works has never been about doing things by halves, and this year we’re bringing together everything from drag queens and disco anthems to cabaret, karaoke and festive parties.

“We’re particularly delighted to welcome LGBTQ+ Greenwich back for Drag the Halls, which celebrates the extraordinary creativity of our local queer community. Whether you’re coming for the music, the performances or simply a brilliant night out with friends, we hope there’s something here to make your Christmas a little more fabulous.”

The venue’s Christmas programme adds to its year-round offering of music, theatre, dance and community events, with a mix of family-friendly and adults-only experiences throughout the festive period.
