Landmark Theatres have confirmed that the UK tour of 9 to 5 The Musical has been extended following exceptional demand. Tickets go on sale from 06 February, with casting to be announced soon.

The feel‑good musical comedy will now run until September 2026. The new production opens at Peterborough New Theatre in July, with additional dates added in Bridlington, Ipswich, Worthing, Coventry and Hastings. These dates join previously announced stops in Barnstaple, Blackpool, Guildford and Darlington.

Featuring the beloved score by Dolly Parton, the show follows three office workers who unite to take on their chauvinistic boss. What begins as a fantasy of revenge becomes a bold plan that unleashes chaos, comedy and empowerment.

Inspired by the iconic 1980s film, the musical celebrates friendship and standing up for what is right, with upbeat numbers that audiences will be singing long after the curtain falls.

The production marks Landmark’s first in‑house show to tour nationally. It is directed by Paul Jepson, with musical supervision by Mark Crossland and set and costume design by Amanda Stoodley.

Paul Jepson, CEO and Creative Director at Landmark Theatres, said: ““We’re thrilled to extend the tour of 9 to 5 The Musical following such an incredible response. This is Landmark Theatres’ biggest tour to date and represents a pivotal moment in our growth as a producing organisation. It reflects our ambition to create bold, popular musical theatre at scale, with exceptional acting, reaching audiences far beyond our own venues. We can’t wait to share this joyful, empowering production with communities across the country and continue building vibrant, inclusive theatre that truly connects.””

Audiences can expect a lively, empowering and outrageously funny night out that celebrates courage, camaraderie and finding your voice.
