Additional venues have been confirmed for the first UK tour of Back to the Future The Musical, produced by Colin Ingram with film creators Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale.

The newly announced dates include Birmingham Hippodrome, the Alhambra Theatre in Bradford, Manchester Opera House, Theatre Royal Plymouth and Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff. These dates join previously confirmed stops in Bristol, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Milton Keynes, Sunderland and Southampton. More venues will be revealed soon.

The West End production continues at the Adelphi Theatre in its fifth year. It will complete its London run on 12 April 2026 after breaking box office records and welcoming 2.3 million theatregoers. The multi award-winning musical is also running in North America, Japan, on Royal Caribbean Cruises and in Germany, with a French production to follow. More than 5 million people have seen the show worldwide.

Based on the 1985 film, Back to the Future The Musical features a book by Bob Gale and new songs by Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard. It also includes classic hits from the movie such as The Power of Love and Johnny B. Goode.

John Rando directs the touring production. The creative team includes Tim Hatley, Chris Bailey, Chris Fisher, Tim Lutkin, Hugh Vanstone, Gareth Owen, Finn Ross, Nick Finlow, Ethan Popp, Bryan Crook and David Chase, with casting by David Grindrod CDG.
