Electric Press Productions has announced the cast for Cinderella: An Immersive Pantomime Experience, which will transform National Trust’s East Riddlesden Hall into an interactive festive adventure from 4 to 23 December 2026.
Set throughout the historic 17th-century house and grounds in Keighley, the production invites audiences to step into the world of Cinderella for a unique immersive pantomime experience.
Meg Kent will star in the title role of Cinderella, while acclaimed Irish drag performer and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 7 runner-up Elle Vosque will play the guiding fairy godmother, Peggy.
JJ Broadbent will make his professional debut as Prince Max, with Sophie Hygate and Kemi Stewart appearing as stepsisters Paige and Kitty, both also making their professional debuts.
Nigel Fyfe will play the King, joined by Jonny Mills as Dandini and Laura Judge as the wicked stepmother Bev.
The cast is completed by Aimee Sanderson-Bates and Joshua George as Swings, alongside Hannah Day in the ensemble.
Created by Electric Press founders Samantha Creswick and Emily Susanne Lloyd, and written by Calum Finlay, the production combines live music, comedy and festive spectacle while making full use of East Riddlesden Hall’s historic setting.
The story follows Cinderella as she dreams of escaping life with her stepfamily and finding a way to share her voice with the world. When Prince Max hears her sing at the village Yuletide Fayre, he announces a grand ball to find her.
However, this version offers a contemporary twist on the traditional ending, with Cinderella choosing self-expression, independence and adventure over convention.
Director Emily Susanne Lloyd said: “What has been so exciting about this Cinderella is building the whole world of it we have such a brilliant cast and creative team. We are really using East Riddlesden Hall as part of the storytelling. It feels like a proper company effort, full of big characters, music, silliness and heart, and I cannot wait for audiences to step into the world we have created.”
Electric Press Productions has gained recognition from the Stage Debut Awards, UK Theatre Awards and Fringe Theatre Awards for its commitment to creating accessible, welcoming and innovative theatre experiences, with a particular focus on championing talent from the North of England.
Suitable for audiences aged five and above, Cinderella: An Immersive Pantomime Experience promises a magical festive outing for families this Christmas season.
