Doubt a Parable at Chichester Festival Theatre

Chichester Festival Theatre’s new production of the Pulitzer Award-winning play DOUBT: A Parable headlines a Winter 2021-22 Season of touring drama, dance, comedy and music.

Chichester Festival Theatre today announces a new production of John Patrick Shanley’s Pulitzer Award-winning DOUBT: A Parable, directed by Lia Williams and starring Monica Dolan and Sam Spruell in their Chichester debuts, which runs at CFT from 22 January – 5 February.

This CFT revival, and the return of Chichester Festival Youth Theatre’s highly-acclaimed PINOCCHIO for Christmas, will be seen alongside an array of visiting drama, dance, comedy, family shows and music for all tastes and ages.

These include the Birmingham Rep/National Theatre anniversary production of Ayub Khan Din’s East Is East direct from its London run; Noël Coward’s Private Lives with Patricia Hodge and Nigel Havers; the new stage adaptation of evergreen sitcom The Good Life with Rufus Hound and Preeya Kalidas; the West End hit The Play What I Wrote; and the new comedy Two Cigarettes in the Dark with Penelope Keith.

Comedy and music range from Omid Djalili and Russell Kane to An Evening Without Kate Bush and the BBC Concert Orchestra, while entertainment for families includes new pop musical Fantastically Great Women Who Changed the World and Michael Morpurgo’s Private Peaceful.
