Edinburgh Fringe Preview: Baby Everything at Summerhall

Acclaimed Philadelphia comedian and performer Lee Minora returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with Baby Everything, a razor-sharp solo show that interrogates anxiety, digital overload and modern existence. Marking her first Fringe appearance since her celebrated debut White Feminist, this UK premiere arrives at Summerhall with biting wit and fearless commentary.

In Baby Everything, Minora introduces audiences to “Baby”, a character navigating a world seemingly on the brink of collapse. As global crises unfold in an endless stream of content, the show asks whether our constant exposure has turned meaningful engagement into performative awareness. Through humour and insight, it questions whether being informed has replaced taking action.

Blending stand-up, theatre and audience interaction, the show explores themes of doomscrolling, identity and the pressure to stay constantly engaged in a chaotic world. With Minora’s signature dry delivery, the production moves from absurdity to sharp social critique, inviting audiences to examine their own relationship with information and responsibility.

Described as “fast, funny, and slightly unhinged”, Baby Everything offers an unpredictable and provocative experience. From audience participation to moments of surreal comedy, Minora creates a live event that is both entertaining and unsettling, ensuring no two performances feel quite the same.

Following critical acclaim from previous work, including praise from The Skinny, The List and The New York Times, Minora’s latest show cements her reputation as a distinctive and daring voice in contemporary comedy.
