Following a Best Theatre win at Adelaide Fringe, Kirsty Mann: CORPSE arrives at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for its fully realised world premiere season at Summerhall.

Written and performed by Kirsty Mann, the show is a gripping real-life ghost story that blends comedy, horror and campfire-style storytelling. Based on true events, it charts a young couple’s move into their dream home, only for increasingly unsettling occurrences to begin disrupting their lives.

What starts with humour and curiosity slowly builds into a chilling and suspenseful narrative, as unexplained phenomena escalate and the presence within the house becomes impossible to ignore. The story moves from playful intrigue to genuine fear, asking audiences to reconsider their beliefs about the afterlife.

Originally developed and first performed in Edinburgh, the show has undergone significant evolution following its award-winning run in Australia. It now returns as a fully realised production, combining storytelling with atmospheric staging to deliver a genre-bending experience.

Mann’s dual perspective as both comedian and doctor adds a distinctive voice to the narrative, grounding the supernatural elements in a relatable reality while amplifying the emotional impact.
